SWR extends weekly special

Bangalore, Sep 4 (UNI) South Western Railway (SWR) has extended the Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur weekly special train by a month to cope up with extra rush.

Train number 0501 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur special would leave Gorakhpur on Mondays at 0630 hrs and arrive Yesvantpur at 1010 hrs on Wednesdays, a SWR press release said.

The first extended service from Gorakhpur would be on September three and the last service would be on September 24.

In the return direction, the Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur weekly express would leave Yesvantpur at 0730 hrs on Thursdays and reach Gorakhpur at 1420 hrs on Saturdays.

The first extended service from Yesvantpur would commence from September six and the last service would be on September 27.
