One arrested in Gaushala murder case

Moga, Sep 4 (UNI) The police today arrested Suresh Kumar , Manager of the Gopal Gaushala in the infamous Gaushala murder case in which 55-year old Surinder Singh of Dala village was beaten tp death on Friday last.

A case under sections 302, 148 and 149 of the IPC was registered against seven persons in this case.

The remaining six accused identified as Jasbir Singh Alias Sheera, Nirmal Singh, Paramjeet Garg, secretary of the Gaushala, Vinod Kumar, Raj Kumar Singla and Raman Kumar, a bank employee are all absconding.

Surinder Singh was beaten to death as he was suspected to be a cow lifter.
