Lightning kills 1, injures 3

Barasat, Sep 4 (UNI) One person died while three others were injured when lightning struck yesterday in Bauthakurani village in North 24 Parganas, police informed today.

A 50-year-old Kamalesh Mandal died while three others, including a woman, sustained serious injuries in a lightning strike, when they were watching a football match at a local play ground.

The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
