Two killed as car collides with lorry

Pudukottai, Sep 3 (UNI) Two persons were killed and four others seriously injured when their car collided with a fish-laden lorry at Old Gandarvakottai, near here, last night.

Police said the victims were returning to Sirkazhi after attending the Moovendar Munnetra Kazhagam party conference here when the mishap occurred.

Satish and Hidayathullah succumbed to injuries at the Government Medical College Hospital, Thanjavur. The injured were being treated at the hospital.
