Tata MF launches Indo-Global Infrastructure fund

Mumbai, Sep 3 (UNI) Tata Mutual Funds has launched Tata Indo-Global Infrastructure Fund, a close-ended equity fund having a maturity of three years, that will mainly invest in equity and related instruments of infrastructure companies.

Launching the scheme, Tata Asset Management MD Ved Prakash Chaturvedi said, ''Given the boom in infrastructure sector in India, investments in these companies will bring strategic comparative advantage to appeal to a broad range of investors.'' While the fund will invest 65-85 per cent in equity and related instruments of domestic companies, 15-35 per cent will be put in foreign securities and upto 35 per cent in debt and money market instruments.

''The scheme will automatically be converted into an open-ended scheme after reaching maturity, aims to generate long term capital appreciation for investors,'' Mr Chaturvedi added.

New Fund Offer (NFO) is open for subscription from today and will close on October 16. The offer is priced at Rs 10 per unit.

Tata Mutual Fund (TMF) has assets worth over Rs 20,480.52 crore as on July 31 and offers investment options for everyone with operational flexibility to suit their varied investment needs.
