Puducherry, Sep 3 (UNI) CPI national secretary D Raja today said the scrapped MISA, POTA or TADA could not be the answer to combat terrorism as ''they proved a failure.'' Talking to newspersons here, Mr Raja said bomb blasts were recurring very often. Exactly 100 days after the May 18 Mecca Masjid bomb blast, the recent twin blasts in Hyderabad proved the lack of coordination between the Central and State intellegence agencies.

Lack of operational effectiveness could also be another reason, he said adding there should be a proper preparedness against rightwing extremists.

To a question on the setting up of a coordination committee of alliance partners in the states on the line of the one at the Centre to iron out problems, Mr Raja said the Chief Ministers had agreed to talk to the allies to resolve issues.
