Shimoga, Karnataka, Sep 3 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said there was no difference of opinion in handing over the power to the coalition partner, BJP on October 3.

Speaking after inaugurating the Government Medical College here, he said ''the doubts were the creation of media and there was no difference of opinion between the JD (S) and the BJP regarding the transfer of power as agreed while assuming power.'' Stating that there was no politics involved in the appointment of Mr Merajuddin Patel as the JD(S) State President, Mr Kumaraswamy urged the media and the public not to mix the issue with the transfer of power.

Reacting to a statement by former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah, Mr Kumaraswamy alleged that he (Mr Siddharamaiah) presented the budget seven times during his tenure as Finance Minister and wasted the valuable time in laying the foundation stones only. ''He never bothered about the state's improvement,'' the Chief Minister alleged.

He said the present coalition government would continue and complete its full-term without any hurdles.

The Shimoga Medical college would be converted into a Healthcare Centre in the coming days. The state government had decided to establish such four centres on par with ''Narayana Hrudayalaya'' of Bangalore.
