Louis Vuitton appoints Ravi Thakran as Group President

New Delhi, Sept 3 (UNI) LVMH Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton, the world's leading luxury goods company, today said it has appointed Ravi Thakran as Group President for South Asia, South East Asia and West Asia.

Ravi Thakran will also be Director for Group Arnault and L Capital in the region, said a statement.

In addition to his group-wide responsibilities, Ravi Thakran will also conduct operational missions to drive Sephora's development in the region as President of Sephora, South and South East Asia.

Ravi Thakran is a graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He started his career in India and subsequently, held a variety of business and marketing positions, including roles for the Tata, Swatch and Nike groups in Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
