Lanco bets on infrastructure

Hyderabad, Sept 3 (UNI) Confident of completing the projects under execution and even more, Lanco Infratech Ltd (LITL) Chairman L Madhusudhan Rao today said the company had already identified more power projects for development.

The company was also keenly eyeing upcoming opportunities in the Road, Transmission Lines, Airport Development and Property and committed to delivering superior growth to all its stakeholders by investing the accruing cash flows in high growth areas, he added.

Addressing the 14th Annual General Meeting of Lanco Infratech Ltd here, Mr Rao said Lanco was focused on capturing a share of the growing infrastructure market.

It was with this objective the company re-organised itself into an integrated infrastructure developer with investments in various projects.

The focus was now on developing large infrastructure projects such as Power, Roads, Ports, Airports, SEZs, Irrigation and Transmission Lines.

The company has also launched property development initiatives aimed at establishing itself as a serious player in the real estate segment.

The integrated business model which the company had adopted was based on leveraging its experience in construction and EPC while developing all the infrastructure projects, a release quoted him saying.
