Kasuri may lead delegation to UN session
Islamabad,
Sept
3:
Foreign
Minister
Khurshid
Kasuri
will
most
probably
lead
Pakistan"s
delegation
at
the
62nd
session
of
the
United
Nations
General
Assembly
(UNGA)
in
New
York
later
this
month.
According
to
informed
sources,
a
decision
in
this
regard
has
already
been
taken
at
the
highest
level.
Apparently
the
decision
is
prompted
by
preoccupation
of
the
president
and
the
prime
minister
with
the
volatile
political
situation
in
the
country,
requiring
them
to
stay
back
in
the
country.
The opening of the 62nd session of the UN General Assembly is scheduled for September 18.
