BJP dissidents keen on forming pressure group

Bhopal, Sep 3 (UNI) In an attempt to step up their activities, BJP dissident leaders have approached Madhya Pradesh Excise Minister Babulal Gaur to form a separate group within the ruling party.

This was disclosed by Mr Gaur while talking to newspersons here today.

Mr Gaur said the leaders desired to forge a united front to evolve a common strategy to fight against any injustice, as individual actions would not help in achieving desired result.

Dissension in the ruling party first surfaced three years ago when a section of party MLAs had demanded reinstatement of Ms Uma Bharti as Chief Minister. It has reappeared after the recent cabinet expansion with some leaders voicing against the non-inclusion in the ministry.
