Terai army takes responsibility of Kathmandu blasts

Kathmandu, Sep 2 (UNI) An unknown group called Terai Army has claimed responsibility for the Kathmandu blasts that killed 2 people and injured over a dozen today.

A person, who identified himself as Mr Khanna told a TV channel over the telephone that his group was responsible for the blasts in Kathmandu.

He said the group is based in Rautahat district in Terai, bordering India.

Mr Khanna's claim could not be verified independently and police have said that the group or individual is not known yet.
