PM lauds successful launch: ISRO Chief

Sriharikota, AP, Sep 2 (UNI) ISRO Chairman G Madhavan Nair today said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed pride and happiness over the successful launch of GSLV-4CR.

''Dr Singh said he was happy and proud of ISRO's achievement and contribution to the country'', Dr Nair told the newspersons.

The Prime Minister also lauded the ISRO team for the speed at which it recovered from the failure of the last mission and completed today's mission with text book precision.
