Fake notes seized, 2 counterfeiters held

Rae Bareli, Sep 2 (UNI) The Special Operation Group (SOG) of district police today arrested two persons in Kotwali area with the seizure of 11 counterfeit notes here.

Acting on an information, police nabbed Babbu Maurya and Lal Chaudhary near the Super Market.

On being frisked, 11 fake notes of Rs 1,000 denomination were recovered from their possession, police said.

A case has been registered.
