Case filed against Tibetans for killing stray dogs

Bangalore, Sep 2 (UNI) Police have registered a case against some Tibetans of a hostel in connection with killing of street dogs for meat in Shantinagar area here.

The case was registered following a complaint filed by a resident of the area that several street dogs had vanished all of a sudden from the area.

Police said on interrogation, the workers of the hostel said the flesh of the dogs was being used for preparing food in their hostel.

They also confessed to have dumped the remaining body parts of the dogs in the nearby dustbins, the police added.

Police suspect the involvement of the workers in the supply of dog meat to other parts of the city.
