Advani recalls Swami Ranganathanda's preachings
Thrissur, Sep 2 (UNI) Recalling the contributions of Swami Ranganathanda, 13th President of Sri Ramakrisha Matom and the Mission of India at Puranattukara, in realising Universal Love, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani today said the seer has rendered his entire services in preaching the philosphies of Sri Ramakrisha and Swami Vivekananda.
Speaking after releasing the biography of Swamai Ranganathanda at the 'the hermittage' here today, by presenting a copy to Sri Ramakrishna Matom President Swami Prasanthananda, he said he was persuaded by the seer to rethink about Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
He said Swami Ranganathanda, generally known as the 'Cultural Ambassador of India' was an eminent personality who explained Indian heritage and 'Vedanta' to mankind in a simple manner.
Mr Advani described the seer, who was a native of Thrikkur in Thrissur, as the 'second Shankaracharya' from Kerala.
Swami Ranganathanda Spiritual Cultural Education and Social Centre President T I Radhakrishnan presided over the function, in which Mr Advani shared his experiences in Karachi and India before and after Independence with the audience.
