2 killed, 25 injured in serial bomb blasts in Nepal

Kathmandu, Sept 2 (UNI) At least two people were killed and more than 25 injured in series of bomb blasts here this afternoon.

According to police, a series of blasts in Sundhara, Tripureshwor, Kalimati, Balaju and Kritipur killed two women and injured more than 25 people.

''No one has taken responsibility of the blasts and security is tightened in Kathmandu,'' Khinu Prasad Acharaya, an official of Nepal Police told UNI, adding that the number of injured could rise.
