SR to run spl trains to Coimbatore, Madurai, Tuticorin

Chennai, Sep 1 (UNI) Southern Railway will operate more special trains to Coimbatore, Madurai and Tuticorin to clear the extra rush of passengers.

A railway release here today said Chennai Central-Coimbatore special would leave here at 2220 hrs on September five, 12, 19 and 26 and arrive in Coimbatore at 0715 hrs, the next day.

In the return direction, the special would leave Coimbatore at 2345 hrs on September six, 13, 20 and 27 and arrive in Chennai Central at 0815 hrs, the next day.

Chennai Egmore-Tuticorin special would leave here at 2245 hrs on September three, five, 12, 19 and 26 and arrive in Tuticorin at 1215 hrs, the next day.

On its way back, the special would leave Tuticorin at 1500 hrs on September four, 13, 20 and 27 and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0430 hrs, the next day.

Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil special would leave here at 1900 hrs on September four, nine, 11, 18 and 25 and arrive in Nagercoil at 0830 hrs, the next day.

In the return direction, the special would leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on September five, 12, 19 and 26 and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0430 hrs, the next day.

Madurai-Chennai Egmore special would leave Madurai at 2345 hrs on September 11, 18 and 25 and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0900 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, the special train would leave here at 2245 hrs on September 14, 21 and 28 and arrive in Madurai at 0845 hrs, the next day.

Madurai-Chennai Egmore special would leave Madurai at 2300 hrs on September 16, 23 and 30 and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 1000 hrs, the next day. On its way back, the special would leave here at 2245 hrs on September 17, 24 and October one and arrive in Madurai at 0845 hrs, the next day.

Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil special would leave here at 2015 hrs on September nine, 16, 23 and 30 and arrive in Nagercoil at 1100 hrs, the next day.

Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore special would leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on September three, ten, 17, 24 and October one and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0430 hrs, the next day, the release added.
