Sanjay's Vaishno Devi trip postponed

Jammu, Sep 1 (UNI) Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has posponed his Shri Mata Vaishno Devi visit as he could not reached Jammu following bad weather condition at Jaipur airport today.

Dutt was scheduled to reach Katra at 1530 hrs today because his plane could not take off from Jaipur airport. Later, Sanjay took another flight and reached New Delhi from where he will leave for Jammu tomorrow, sources said.

Talking to UNI, SP, Katra Ashok Sharma said we were told this evening that 'Munna Bhai' now would offer puja at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine situated at high altitude of Trikuta hills tomorrow.

The Jammu and Kashmir police had made special security arrangement for the Bollywood star.

Dutt, convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blast case and sentenced six years rigorous imprisonment, will seek blessing at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.

Dutt and other guests will reach tomorrow and start trekking in security cover of a special team of police Katra to Bhawan where they would pay obeisance to the holy shrine, Mr Sharma added.
