Patiala bundles at 263 runs in Katoch Shield

Patiala, Sept 1 (UNI) In the Katoch Shield match played here today at the Dhruve Pandove Cricket Stadium, host Patiala were all out for 263 in 89.3 overs against Chandigarh.

For Patiala, Harkishen Mandora (57) and Ravi Inder(50) scored fluent half centuries, while Binwant Singh (45) and T S Bawa (41) were the other main run getters. Former India cap, Pankaj Darmani was out cheaply for 24.

For Chandigarh, Siddharth Kaul captured 3 wickets, conceding 57 runs. Naresh Gogia and Anil Siyog took two wickets each, giving away 96 and 40 runs respectively. In reply, Chandigarh were 9 for no loss in 3 overs. N Gogia was unbeaten on 3 and Sarul was 2 not out.
