Opposition demands solution to agitating para teachers
Ranchi, Sep 1 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Arjun Munda today demanded sorting out the problems of agitating para teachers by September 5.
The former chief minister said, the Opposition would launch an agitation if the UPA backed Madhu Koda government failed to fulfil their demands.
Mr Munda said the education system was adversely affected due to strike called by the para teachers demanding implementation of their salary from January.
He also criticised the Human Resources Department Minister for his 'non-cooperational' attitude.
On August 23, agitating para teachers demonstrated at the Birsa Chowk near the state Assembly and police had to resort to lathicharge to control them. The next day the para teachers decided to go on a one month strike in support of their demands.
