Mining policy to be announced soon: Minister

Kozhikode, Sep 1 (UNI) The Centre would announce the new mining policy during the ongoing session of Parliament, Union Minister of State for Mining T Subbirami Reddy said today.

Talking to newspersons here, he said this would pave the way for investment by enterprenuers from foreign countries, including South Africa, in this sector.

Mr Reddy was here to participate in a function to bestow the P V Swamy Memorial Award on leading industrialist and Rajya Sabha Member Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
