Malhotra sent to JC till Sept 3 in land scam case

New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) Main accused in the multi-crore DDA land scam case Ashok Malhotra was today sent to judicial custody till September 3.

Special CBI judge S K Kaushik sentenced Malhotra to three-day judicial custody after his police custody expired today.

Another accused in the case S C Garg was sent to judicial custody till September 12.

The judge also instructed the jail authorities to provide special security to Malhotra and bring him separately from other prison inmates as a precautionary measure.
