JD(S) appoints party worker as CADA, UKP Chairman

Bangalore, Sep 1 (UNI) The ruling coalition partner Janata Dal (S) in Karnataka has appointed Mr Mallikarjuna Aiyappa Yendigeri, as the Chairman of the Command Area Development Authority, Upper Krishna Irrigation project.

With this the JD(S) has began the process of nominating its party workers to the Boards and Corporations as per the power sharing agreement with the coalition partner Bharatiya Janata Party.

There was lot of discontent brewing in JD(S) over the delay in the appointment of party workers to various Boards and Corporations as its coalition partner BJP had already completed the process.

The JD(S) also reportedly decided to nominate another 20 to 25 prominent party workers to head various boards and corporations and the names were likely to announced in a couple of days.
