Infant among 3 murdered over illicit relationship

Lakhimpur Kheri, Sep 1 (UNI) Three people, including an infant, were killed over an illicit relationship in Sigahi area of the district.

Divorcee Jamuna Devi (35) of village Niboria had illicit affairs with Sankata (50) and Fakira (55) of the same village.

Recently, the trio had developed irreconcilable differences, which led to murder.

Police recovered the body of Sankata and Fakeera hanging from a tre, while the corpse of latter's newly born son was found lying on the road.

A case had been registered and investigations are on, police said.
