Govt committed to cooperating with flood victims: Thakur
Samastipur, Sep 1 (UNI) Bihar Land Reforms Minister Ramnath Thakur today said his government was committed to cooperating with the flood victims.
Addressing a meeting here at the Collectorate, he said the government was doing relief work on war footing and would not compromise on the issue.
Besides providing relief material to the flood-affected people, the government was also rehabilitating the cattle and provided fodder for them, he added.
The minister said dereliction of duties on the part of officials would not be tolerated.
He also exhorted all the citizens to cooperate with the relief work.
