ECHS polyclinic inaugurated at Chandimandir

Chandigarh, Sept 1 (UNI) Lt. Gen. Daljeet Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Western Command today inaugurated the Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) polyclinic complex at Chandimandir. The GOC-in-C also inaugurated the superspeciality OPD of the Command Hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, the General said that there was a long felt need to move the ECHS out of the Command Hospital premises and shift it to a new location where patients could come to the same area to get all their facilities.

Lt Gen Daljeet Singh also informed that very soon the ECHS would have a new x-ray machine and other such facilities so that it can be run as a stand alone facility. He also informed that the staff strength of the dental clinic was also being increased to 10 from presently five so that the ECHS employees can have an easy access to the dental facilities.
