Bhopal, Sep 1 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti President and sadhvi Uma Bharti today described the ban on 'Yoga' by two churches in England recently as a sign of narrow mindedness.

''The move indicates that they have not come out of the Bible. It depicts their orthodox and fundamentalist ideology,'' said Ms Bharti, who had earned recognition for delivering religious discourses at international level.

The sadhvi pointed out that 'Yoga' -- one of the best methods to keep body and mind healthy -- had nothing to do with a particular religion. However, it was linked to India because it originated here.

Asserting that practicing 'Yoga' was good for mankind, Ms Bharti said imposing the ban was not appropriate, as every human being had the right to remain fit.

Calling for a struggle against the ban on 'Yoga', the firebrand leader said the ban should be viewed as a challenge.
