Train services disrupted under South Eastern Railway

Kolkata, Aug 30 (UNI) Train services continued to be disrupted for the tenth day today between Tangarmunda and Garposh stations of Rourkela-Jharsuguda section under Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway following a breach coupled with incessant torrents in Bengal, Jharkhand and Orissa.

Restoration work was continuing in full swing, SER sources here said.

Up line was restored earlier, while the down line was restored at 1600 hrs on August 26 with limited speed. The SER had either short terminated or cancelled a few trains, scheduled to take Rourkela-Jharsuguda route.

8252 Puri-Hatia Express leaving Puri tonight would run up to Hatia on normal route.

8451 Hatia-Puri Express leaving Hatia tomorrow would run up to Puri on normal route.

8005 Howrah-Koraput Express leaving Howrah tonight would be short terminated at Rourkela and would run as 8006 Express Rourkela tomorrow.

8005/8006 Express would remain cancelled tomorrow between Rourkela-Sambalpur -Rourkela.

8005 Howrah-Koraput Express leaving Howrah tomorrow would run up to Koraput on normal route.

8006 Koraput-Howrah Express leaving Koraput on September 1 would run up to Howrah on normal route.

8029 Lt (T) Shalimar Express leaving LT(T) tonight and tomorrow would remain cancelled for want of rakes.
