Mumbai: Precious metals decline

Mumbai, Aug 30: Precious metals were down today as Silver declined by Rs 15 and gold by Rs 10 per ten gm traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the opening rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 16,845, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,885, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,930.
