Pondy: TMC founder Moopanar remembered

Puducherry, Aug 30: Floral tributes were paid to veteran Congress leader and Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) Founder G K Moopanar on his sixth death anniversary here today.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his Cabinet colleagues and senior officials were among those who garlanded his statue at Marappalam, near here.

Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee President P Shanmugham and other party office-bearers also garlanded the statue.

Earlier, floral tributes were offered to Mr Moopanar's portrait at the PCC office in which Mr Rangasamy and Mr Shanmugham took part.
