Exide chalks up Rs 450 cr expansion plan

expansion
plans
over
the
next
three
years.
Exide director Gautam Chatterjee, while addressing a press conference here today, the plans include introduction of modern technology.
The Company, he said, was expecting a 30 per cent hike in turnover during the current fiscal compared to last fiscal's Rs 2200 crore.
Exide, Mr Chatterjee said, has a 75 per cent market share in India as against the 16 per cent market share enjoyed by its nearest rival Amar Raja Batteries.
