VHP announces 3-hr nationwide 'chakka jam

Jaisalmer, Aug 29 (UNI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has announced a three-hour nationwide 'chakka jam' on September 12 against the central government's plan to demolish the Ram Setu.

During the Rashtriya Sutra Bandhan Yatra here today, VHP leader Sadhvi Rithambhara said the three-hour chakha jam aims at pushing the Government to withdraw its decision to bring down the Ram Setu as it is revered by crores of Hindus.

A nationwide campaign would be undertaken to make people aware about the importance of the Setu.
