Tata Steel launches corporate anthem

Jamshedpur,Aug 29 (UNI) Steel major Tata Steel today launched its Corporate Anthem as a part of its celebrations of centenary year.

Tata Steel entered its centenary year on August 26 and the company had decided to celebrate the occasion thorough various programmes till next year, the company sources said.

One of the highlights of such initiatives was the launch of Corporate Anthem capturing the essence of Tata Stee's journey through the last 100 years.

The lyrics of the anthem was penned by acclaimed lyricist Javed Akhtar and the music for the anthem was composed by Bollywood's well known musician trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy while it was sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Mahalaxmi Aiyer.

This Corporate Anthem, originally in Hindi and translated into English, would convey the rich heritage of the company all over the world where the company has its plants and offices, the sources said.
