SCWEC training prog for rural women begins Aug 31
Hyderabad, Aug 29 (UNI) The SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council (SCWEC) would conduct a two-month training programme for rural and underprivileged women on computer fundamentals, health, nutrition and soft skills from August 31 in the city, its President Indira Dutta said today.
Addressing the press here, Ms Dutta said the training programme was being organised with active support from groups like Employment Generation and Marketing Mission (EGMM), Hamstech Institute of Fashion Technology, Satyam Foundation and Apollo Hospitals. Stating that 85 women who were economically backward and school dropouts were selected for the training programme, she said Hamstech would conduct a two-day session on soft skills covering body language, grooming, office and telephone etiquette.
Apollo Hospitals would hold a special health check-up for all the participants while Satyam Foundation would impart computer education and provide employment, Ms Dutta said.
