PM to present Bhabha medals on August 31

Mumbai, Aug 29 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be the chief guest at the Graduation function of the 50th batch of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training School and will also present Homi Bhabha medals to the toppers in various disciplines.

The Prime Minister will also give away medals to the overall toppers of the previous batches, official sources said today.

Besides the Prime Minister, the function will also be attended by the State Governor S M Krishna, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister Office Prithviraj Chavan, senior BARC officials, and previous chairmen of the Atomic Energy Commission and Atomic Energy Regultaory Board, the official added.
