Objectionable posters: Case against Cong in MP

Indore, Aug 29 (UNI) A local court has registered a case against two Congress leaders for allegedly putting up posters containing objectionable comments against former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP state President Narendra Singh Tomar and other party leaders.

On a complaint by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha's Mahesh Joshi and the Morcha's Town President Ajit Raghuvanshi, Chief Judicial Magistrate Sarla Wakalkar on Saturday registered the case under the Indian Penal Code's Section 500 against Congress City President Pramod Tandon and Media Incharge Abhay Dubey.

A notice was issued and October 8 fixed as the next date for hearing. The complainants, represented by Advocate Umesh Yadav, alleged that the posters were put up during the BJP's Abhyas Varg here last month.
