Jaipur, Aug 29 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party today claimed that their was no dissidence among party rank and file in Rajasthan and the state government and the party were ''functioning well''.

After day-long deliberations to ensure better coordination between the party organisation and the government in the desert state, party national General Secretary and incharge of the Rajasthan affairs Gopinath Munde, who arrived here this evening, said there was no dissidence in the party's state unit and ''everything was going well''.

''Both the party organisation as well as the state government is functioning well,'' he claimed.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje who was accompanying Mr Munde also rejected dissidence as ''mere media speculation''.

Besides Mr Munde and Ms Raje, the meeting was attended by all ministers, chairpersons of various boards and corportions, party state office bearers and members of the party advisory board.

The meeting was called to chalk out a strategy for ensuring better coordination between the party organisation and the government, Mr Munde said.

He said the meeting was a planned affair and it had nothing to do with Ms Raje and some ''dissident'' leaders' recent meetings with the party high command in New Delhi.

Prior to this meeting, two meetings were held earlier in the day. While the first meeting was attended by party state president Dr Mahesh Sharma and all party state general secretries, the other meeting was participated by all state office bearers.

Besides chief minister Ms Raje, ''dissident'' minister Ghanshyam Tiwari, party MPs Lalit Kishore Chaturvedi, Kailash Meghwal and Raghuveer Singh Kaushal had met the party high command recently.
