Key cotton ease on poor spinners demand

Mumbai, Aug 29 (UNI) Select cotton prices today declined by Rs 100 per candy (350 kgs) on thin spinners demand in the face of large stock arrival from producing centres like Gujarat and Punjab, traders at the East India Cotton Association said.

Following are the spot cotton rates per candy (350 kgs) in Rupees: Bengal Desi: 15,800, V-797: 16,800, Karnataka Jayadhar: 15,600, V-1: 17,800, Punjab J-34: 18,500, NHH-44: 19,200, LRA: 19,000, H-4: 19,600, S-6-A grade: 19,800, Bunny/Brahma: 20,500, MCU-5: 20,700, DCH-32: 22,500, 35-MM: 32,500, Hedge Contract: 19,600.
