DustVen opens new manufacturing facility

Bangalore, Aug 29 (UNI) DustVen Private Limited, an ISO 9001 environmental engineering company, today announced opening of a state-of-the-art new facility at Dobbspet near Tumkur.

Talking to newspersons here, company Managing Director Bail Bharath said the plant, with an investment of Rs six crore, would have an installed manufacturing capacity of Air Pollution Control Equipment equivalent to 400 tons per month per shift.

The company planned to touch a capacity utilisation of 200 tons a month in the next couple of months as against the present 100 tons.

He said the company's revenue of Rs 20 crore was expected to zoom by more than 100 per cent following a surge in market demand.

The company would maintain a steady annual growth of 30 per cent thereafter, he added.

To a question, Mr Bharath said the company was clearly poised to become one of the leaders in Air Pollution Control equipment manufacture in India. Besides, it would also position itself to export its technologically sound products to global markets. The company supplied equipment related to steel, power, cement, infrastructure and chemical sectors.

He said the size of the APC industry was expected to cross Rs 940 crore by 2009-10 as against the present Rs 670 crore.
