Bomb hoax call creates panic in city hospital

Phagwara, Aug 29 (UNI) Three bomb hoax calls by an unidentified person created panic in the Gandhi Hospital here this morning.

According to the police, a receptionist of the hospital today received three calls from an unidentified person who threatened to blast the hospital in next ten mintues. After getting the information about the calls, Phagwara SDM Amarjit Paul, DSP HPS Khakh alongwith several other senior officials rushed to the hospital and searched the entire hospital, but nothing could be detected.

The caller immediately switched off his mobile on receiving phone calls made by tehsildar and police officials. However, police authorities are now making contacts with BSNL authorities to trace out the caller.
