Bangla assures will not allow territory for anti-India purposes

New Delhi, Aug 29 (UNI) India has raised its security concerns with Bangladesh during the Home Secretary-level talks and it had been assured that the neighbouring country would not allow its territory to be used by elements inimical to India, Rajya Sabha was informed today.

Answering Mrs Sushila Tiriya, Minister of State for Home V Radhika Selvi said,in a written reply, that the two sides agreed to have real time exchange of actionable information between the security agencies and to initiate swift action on information about fugitives taking shelter on either side of the border.

The Government will continue to share information with Bangladesh and solicit their cooperation, the minister said.
