Ballarpur Industries Q4 net at Rs 66.28 cr

New Delhi, Aug 29 (UNI) Country's largest paper and pulp manufacturer Ballarpur Industries Ltd, today said it has posted a net profit of Rs 66.28 crore for the fourth quarter ended June 30, 2007 whereas the same was at Rs 67.88 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total income was Rs 537.65 crore during the said period whereas the same was at Rs 533.69 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The company said that the previous year figures include those of power business for nine months upto March 31, 2006 and Unit Ashti for a period of three months from April 1, 2006 to June 30, 2006 and hence are not comparable with the classification of current year.

For the year ended June 30, 2007, the company's net profit stood at Rs 250.75 crore as against Rs 212 crore for the year ended June 30, 2006.

Its total income was Rs 2,173.45 crore for the year ended June 30, 2007 while it was Rs 1,884.37 crore last fiscal.

The group's consolidated results saw its net profit at Rs 255.97 crore for the fiscal 2006-2007 while it stood at Rs 214.17 crore for the fiscal 2005-2006.

Its total income was Rs 2,331.51 crore for the year ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was Rs 1,923.68 crore for the year ended June 30, 2006.

The company has also recommended a dividend of 15 per cent.
