Jharkhand: Two killed in accident

Dumka, Aug 28: Two women were killed and four others injured when a speedy car coming from opposite direction hit them near Singhni-Baniara village under Hansdiha police station area in the district.

Police said yesterday that the deceased, identified as Sonabhan Biwi and Reshma, died on the spot whereas the injured were rushed to Saryyaihat block hospital.

Irked over the incident the local villagers blocked the Dumka-Bhagalpur road for about three hours, police added.
