Terrorism Toll highest in India after Iraq

New Delhi, August 27: South Asia is a terror hotspot on the globe, and the country that has faced the worst of terrorist attacks on its own soil, barring war-torn Iraq, is India.

India is hit by terrorists at an alarming regularity and the list of cities hit is endless - Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Malegaon and Varanasi. India not only had the highest number of deaths, but also the highest number of terror-related incidents among all countries.
