3 dead after consuming spurious toddy

Kollam, Aug 28 (UNI) Three people died today after allegedly consuming spurious toddy from a toddy shop at Vilakuzhi, near here.

Police said ten others who had also consumed toddy from the shop were rushed to the Medical College Hospital, while five others were being treated at the Punalur Government Hospital.

Following the incident, an agitated mob torched the toddy shop.
