UP: Woman falls victim to exorcist

Jaunpur, Aug 27: A woman died of severe injuries during the treatment from an exorcist in Gaura Badshapur area of this district.

Police said the incident occurred yesterday in Kukuha village, where the victim Shanti Devi (30) of Tarkullapur village had come for the treatment from an exorcist Ramesh Kumar Rajbhar.

The work place of the absconding accused was later bulldozed.

A case had been registered and a hunt to nab the accused was launched.
