Security forces recover four IEDs from Rajouri

Jammu, Aug 27 (UNI) Security forces today busted two militant hideouts and recovered arms and ammunition, including four powerful improvised explosive devices (IED) of 26 kgs, in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

The Army unearthed two hideouts in Pagga area of Bhudal tehsil and Nagnnar area of the district and recovered 26 kg of four IEDs and explosive material, sources said.

Acting on a tip off, troops launched a search operation in Pagga and unearthed the hideout. Three IEDs, weighing 23 kg, one Chinese pistol, two magazines, 14 pistol rounds, three Chinese grenades, one AK magazine and 126 AK rounds were recovered, sources said.

The troops busted another hideout at Nagnnar and seized one IED of three kg explosive, 150 AK rounds, three UGBL grenades and 140 pika rounds.
