People's representatives facing humiliation:JD(S)

Patna, Aug 27 (UNI) Janta Dal(S) today alleged that the peoples' representatives were getting raw deal from the bureaucrats during the Nitish Kumar regime.

In a statement released here, JD(S) leader Chandra Bhushan Dubey said political leaders were being humiliated by the bureaucrats of the state government, but Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was still maintaining stoic slience over the matter.

The recent humiliation of political leaders by the officials during a visit of deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi to Bettiah, indicated that such officers were getting 'patronage' from the Chief Minister himself, he added.

'' The NDA government failed to contain the rising incident of crimes despite tall claims made by the alliance during its last Assembly Elections campaign,'' Mr Dubey alleged.

He urged the Chief Minister to bring back the efficient and honest officers into the mainstream of the state administration as it would help check the rising crime graph and will help execution of welfare schemes as well.
