Norit launches Chennai sales operations

Chennai, Aug 27 (UNI) Norit, a leading global company in water treatment plants, has opened its maiden sales establishment in the city to enhance its India operations.

Talking to newspersons here today, company member board director Menno M Holterman said, "by opening up this new sales office, we can listen closely to customer demands and respond to the needs of India's growing industry and environmental awareness".

"Currently, we have invested half- a- million Euros for India operations. This would be increased in the months to come", he added.

The company would be installing water treatment plants in various organisations, from mid size to large size, depending on the requirements.

"Most of our water treatment plants are based on Membrane Technology. Norit Membrane Technology developes functional, reliable and competitive solutions for each water application", he said.

On future expansion plans, Mr Hoterman said, "we have planned to open a couple of offices in Gulf countries".
